Personal Homepage (Local Info)

You can set up your personal page in the Local Info. There you can upload files like PDF,JPEG etc. or write some text.

  1. Log in into Local Info https://www.math.uzh.ch/li/index.php?id=login

  2. Go to http://www.math.uzh.ch/li/index.php?id=personal_homepage

  3. Edit the things you like

Personal homepage (HTML)

All institutes members and students have the possibility to set up a personal homepage. This page can be independent or contain parts of the institutes database. It's necessary to have knowledge in HTML! Please contact the Support Group for more details.

  1. To create a personal homepage, please contact your System Administrator.--> http://www.math.uzh.ch/index.php?support It is necessary to set a link to your homepage directory.

  2. In your home directory is a new directory called 'public_html'
  3. The entry page has to be called 'index.html'
  4. Set up your Personal homepage
  5. Open a Terminal and type (do this every time you edited the page)

    setwww

You have to maintain it by yourself and you have to make sure everything is world readable.
