hello.math.uzh.ch is something like WhatsApp, Slack, Skype, ... - but hosted & controlled at I-MATH!
The video calls are managed via itsi.rog (see https://jitsi.org/what-is-jitsi/)
Features
- Create open or private channel (=groups).
- Invite members to your channel (if is not public).
- Do Video Calls.
- Do Screen Sharing (start a video call, then share your screen).
- Send files to someone, or a channel.
- Search all your messages.
- Start a new thread on answering to a message via 'Reply in thread'.
- Copy screenshots to someone via clipboard.
- If you're not online and a message is directed to you: receive notifications by email (you have to verify your email first under 'My Account').
- Mark messages with emoticons.
Start a voting via posting emoticons: The other users has to click on the emoticon - a counter is shown.
- 'Pin' and 'Star' messages.
