Video & Screensharing
- SW:
- Participants: Browser with Flash Player.
- Speaker: for sharing the screen an Adobe plugin is necessary. Under Windows/ Mac it installs on the fly.
- Sessions can be recorded (flv) and cutted inside the browser.
Recordings will be hosted under http://collab.switch.ch

- Client often change the version number, older clients are incompatible with newer versions.

- Screen Sharing: yes, but bad quality.

- Browserbased: FF,IE, Safari / Win, Mac, (Liunx)
- Lotus Account an der UZH, die anderen Teilnehmer benoetigen keinen Lotus Account.
- Die Partei die den Bildschirm freigibt, benoetigt JAVA
- Freigeben unter Linux scheint nicht zu funktinieren. Anzeigen ist ok

with the Tripod
- You can also use the Logitech Conference Camera from the IMATh or the Webcam integrated in the Notebook, but keep in mind that the quality is not really good.

You can stream different sources:
- Blackboard
- Your own screen or windows on your screen
- Audience
Audio Source
There are some options for the Audio source:
- Wireles Mic which will get you the best quality
- The Logitec Conefernece Camera microphone
- The integrated microphone of the notebook
Livestreaming options
You can stream to any streaming platform you one option is Youtube
- The software we use is Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) which is allready configured for the IMATH Youtube channel
to start the stream just hit Start Streaming and you are live
Recording
You can record the Conference or the Seminar with the camera
- You can safe it directly on the camera and copy it afterwards via USB
you can record it on to the laptop using OBS, the Video will be safed under C:\users\<user>\videos
To record with OBS hit Start Recording
Replay
After the recording you can edit and render the Video with a Macbook from the IT-Group or your own Notebook and upload it to:
